eRobot IP camera D1400- has stopped working firmware corrupted

Solution

Hello,
my name is Pavel Kucera. I have a problem with my IP camera D1400.
About this Problem: I tried this IP camera - I connected the power adapter to this IP camera and connected the network cable to router---it was successfully...
This IP camera is powered properly.
(I used my hand to cover the infrared illuminators, and i saws the red glow, this means the camera is powered properly).

After I downloaded the APP "COT Pro", I registered my account succesfully too...
I added the device successuffly too...
In this moment IP camera worked successfully too - I saw online video from IP camera....NO problem!! For this moment was everything OK....
The Problem was: WHEN I TRIED IN MENU FOR APP"COT PRO" THE FUNCTION "DEVICE UPDATE" - MY CAMERA HAS STOPPED WORKING!! NO ONLINE VIDEO...NOTHING....NO ACTION!!

When I received your IP camera, IP camera worked all right...but when I used this function "Device update" in APP"COT Pro", my IP camera has stopped working!!

Yesterday I spoke about it with yout technical support - with Jackie Chou. He suggested me to instal CMSClient Software...I tried This Software for this IP camera D1400 but this software didn't detect my IP camera!!
After Jackie suggested me to re-upgrade the firmware manually.
here is this procedure for re-upgrade from him:
http://www.unifore.net/ip-video-surveillance/erobot-ip-camera-debug-software-download-and-guide.html
1. Firstly download the IP camera debug software.
2. Now getting the latest camera firmware
http://my.cotapp.net/forum/thread/197/yoosee-cot-pro-erobot-camera-firmware-download/
D1400 should choose this firmware: 13.0.0.96
4. Running the IPC debug tool, click "Refresh", the tool will list/find available network cameras.
In this step, you may choose the [IPC] from the list, so that the software may list the cameras.
I tried to re-upgrade the firmware manually...

Points 1,2 - it was no Problem...
But Point 4. - This Tool did not find my IP camera....!!

Please, can you help me? What I have to do now, please? Thank you very much for your help.
Best regards Pavel Kucera

It seems your camera firmware has been corrupted during the upgrading process. Therefore the camera can't be online. To fix this, you can use the TF card to upgrade the camera's firmware.

The procedures as blow:
1. Prepare a TF card, format the TF card in FAT 32 on your computer.
2. Copy the npcupg.bin file to the root folder of TF card.
3. Insert the TF card into camera when it's disconnected with power supply.
4. Plug the Ethernet cable to the camera.
5. Now press "reset" button on camera don't release, meanwhile connect the camera to the power supply, release the "reset" button after 15 seconds.
5. Checking the running status of indicators on camera's RJ45 port, if both Green and Yellow LEDs begin turn on, then turn off simultaneously, this means the camera is upgrading its firmware.

The camera will reset to the default firmware version 13.0.0.1, using the IPC debug software can upgrade to the latest version, or using the App.

Please check the attachment, you can find the npcupg.bin file (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6hOMc9JdNOtWjZqdlFFOTVIZ0U/view?usp=sharing)

Sincerely,

Peter Chen
