keyboard VS-WJP1

Solution

I got a VS-WJP1 keyboard and install the batteries, the keyboard does not react. I put new batteries and does not react, it is impossible to program the keyboard on the alarm panel G60 Ultimate. The keyboard does not emit sounds nor the keys light up when touched as normally happens. What more can I check to make it work?

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback.

Please watch this video to know how to pair the VS-WJP1 to the alarm panel.

Thanks for your reply.
It is not the first keyboard VS-WJP1 that I install and the procedure explained in the video is that I follow, the problem is that by placing the batteries in the keyboard, it does not light nor sound. In the video you can see the blue light by touching the keys and the sound.
The keyboard supplied by Unifore does nothing and therefore it is impossible to program the keyboard on the alarm panel G60 Ultimate.
I put it new batteries and does not work, if there is nothing more to check , I suspect that the keyboard is bad and needs to be changed.
I await your prompt response.

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback.

Please note that the upper touch keypad uses the PIN to connect with the main-board of the keypad.

When put back the upper cover, please make sure you do it properly.

The problem with the keyboard is solved.
Yesterday I made a new attempt to solve the problem and I got it.
After placing the batteries and replacing the top face tactile on the main plate I tried to make the holes for the screws of both sides match, so the pin on both sides did not match. After several attempts I matched the pins (which is difficult because you can not see it) so the screw holes on both sides were misaligned approximately 2 millimeters but the keyboard started to work correctly. Taking care not to break the pin connections, gradually slide one side on the other the 2 millimeters until the screws can be placed. The keyboard worked well.
Thanks for your help.
